Compiler and Narrator: Robert Scott’s story began with Wesley G. Scott’s memoirs about his grandfather’s birth in Scotland and undeclared episodes of Robert’s life in Wales. The more exact rigors of Robert’s life, however, have been found on the Virginia and Kentucky frontier. This research has attempted to tie up loose ends and finish Robert and Winifred’s saga by becoming acquainted with their seven children. This special CD or DVD was designed for the 2006 Scott Family Reunion, Chapel Hill Christian Church Community Building, Floyd County, Indiana. The Chapel Hill Church along with its cemetery, its old public school building, and its woods and grove have been the site of many Scott events for reunions, recreation, education, marriages, and funerals. There has not been room on this media to chronicle all children of Robert and Winifred so one of their sons, Moses Scott and wife, Elizabeth Shindler, has been featured with family files and photos of their descendants. Moses brought his family to Floyd County, Indiana in 1816. Click on the following links to stir up adventures and information.
